Definition

This category celebrates technological artistry. Entries need to demonstrate exceptional form and function in a digital context with great design, masterful execution and outstanding user experience created for all digital environments. The jury will reward the quality of craft, the idea behind the execution in relation to the client or brand should be of little or no consideration to the jury, accepting, of course, that it cannot be ignored completely.

A. Form

The overall creative aesthetic value of the work in both sound and visuals. From creative use of illustrations, video or images over music and the overall aesthetic design.

B. Function

The practical use and/or purpose in the creative design, operation and performance, including UX design, experience design, built-in or/and existing features. 

C. Content

The creative use of content, placement and delivery of message in a digital context. The jury will look for dynamic, intuitive, targeted and highly relevant content or digital experiences.

D. Data & AI

The presentation of data and artificial intelligence utilised to enhance brand experience.

E. Technology

The value of the applied technology as a platform for creative digital content and how it is executed to enhance the user experience. The creative application of immersive experiences which creatively push the boundaries of technology within digital craft. Including but not limited to AR, VR, AI, wearable tech and mobile devices, voice technology, video mapping, blockchain technology, gamification, virtual worlds, metaverse and all other emerging platforms. We do not include prototypes of early-stage technology.
