The club is dead, long live the club! While a few people still talk about CCB, the Creative Belgium brand has now existed for 10 years and has made its mark on many initiatives, events and even a school. The team is now gearing up for the future. Since September, Amber van Elk has been filling a new role as Head of Operations in which she is responsible for day-to-day operations and will make a significant contribution to the growth and development of Creative Belgium and industry support.

‘After five years at Creative Belgium, I look back with gratitude on everything I have learned and the opportunity I have had to be part of this strong community. It is hugely inspiring to be surrounded by creativity on a daily basis. In my role as Head of Operations, I want to further strengthen and grow Creative Belgium. I could not have reached this milestone without Isabel's support and guidance. I am extremely grateful to her for the trust she has placed in me, which has made me grow not only professionally, but also personally. And thanks also to the board for the opportunities and trust. I am ready to take even bigger steps together!’ - Amber van Elk

‘This decision reflects Amber's loyalty, courage and authenticity, which are crucial to strengthening Creative Belgium. Amber tackles challenges with determination and openness and fosters an atmosphere of integrity and cooperation, for which I am immensely grateful to her.’ - Isabel Van den Broeck

Lynn Van den Zegel started as Office & Community Manager last summer and will be responsible for the smooth running of memberships, ticketing and other operational tasks. Lynn will also invest much of her time in the next generation. She liaises with schools and universities, and will use her expertise to support the Creative Belgium School, the new postgraduate degree. Welcome Lynn!

‘Lynn has already proven to be a valuable asset to our team in her short time with us. We believe her commitment will help us make our daily operations more efficient, her commitment to schools and her support for the Creative Belgium School in turn underline the importance we place on developing young talent in the creative sector. I am super excited about the future and with this trio, backed by a fantastic board, we will be even more committed to supporting the sector in the best possible way.’ - Isabel Van den Broeck
