Part dreamer, part activist, obsessive problem-solver and staunch champion of creativity, Bridget Johnson has juggled these traits to become a recognised creative leader in South Africa and Ireland. A born collaborator, she believes that brilliant ideas come from the confluence of creative culture, chemistry and mutual respect. With more than 20 years’ experience in agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather South Africa (10 years), M&C Saatchi Abel (South Africa), TBWA (SA) and one of Ireland’s most successful independent agencies, Boys & Girls, she has earned over 80 awards at all the top international and local award shows.
Bridget has led integrated global accounts such as Vodafone (in South Africa), Three Mobile UK, Škoda Ireland, KFC and Diageo; created award-winning work for charities and PSAs like the Topsy Foundation and Aware.org and touched every comms category and platform known to humankind, bot or avatar.
She remains passionate about convention-busting ideas, sharing her knowledge and building the kind of creative connections and cultures that she’s been privileged enough to enjoy in her career. She regards any appointment to judge awards and celebrate talent as a privilege. This will be her first visit to Brussels and to the Creative Belgium Awards and she simply cannot wait to see the work!
