Membership terms & conditions
1) Become a member
1.1 Why? A membership of Creative Belgium makes you more connected with peers and people in advertising, design and digital communication. You will get inspired by workshops and events. Your membership gives you visibility thanks to the most important award in the creative industry. And last but not least, you support and nurture the next generation of creative talent.
1.2 Who? Everyone with a role in creative communication in advertising, design and digital in Belgium.
1.3 What? There are 4 types of memberships
- Individual membership
Professional (>30y) - € 170 (excl. VAT)
Young Professional (<30y) – € 125 (excl. VAT)
- Corporate membership
up to 7 employees – € 1.325 (excl. VAT)
as from 8 employees – € 2.650 (excl. VAT)
- Friend of creativity
€ 2.650 (excl. VAT)
- Academic membership
Student – € 55 (incl. VAT)
Teacher – €125 (incl. VAT)
Memberships are subject to 21% VAT.
After graduating a student membership will turn into a Young Professional membership if you are under 30, when you turn 30 you get a Professional membership.
1.4 How? Apply for a membership by filling in the membership application form on the Creative Belgium website.
1.5 You have to verify your personal e-mail address and personally agree to have read, understood and agree to the terms & conditions of Creative Belgium.
1.6 When an applicant pays the amount due, Creative Belgium confirms the membership application and you are officially a member.
2) The duration of your membership
2.1 The duration of all memberships is at least 1 year.
2.2 An Academic Teacher Membership and a Individual Membership, run from January 1st to December 31st. An Academic Student Membership runs from October 1st to September 30th.
2.3 In case you start your membership during the year, your membership fee will be the same.
2.4 The membership is automatically renewed each year unless you have denounced before september 30th for the following calendar year.
3) Payment of your membership
3.1 Creative Belgium reserves the right to index the membership fee annually on the 1st of January.
3.2. Membership needs to be paid on the following IBAN account : BE 28210035945020
4) Your personal membership
4.1 Members are required to notify Creative Belgium immediately when they are no longer a student or when changing address, e-mail or company.
4.2 A company that pays for an Individual Membership remains owner of that memberships for the rest of the calendar year, even when the working arrangement with the individual member/employee is terminated. A membership can be attributed to another employee at any time.
5) The benefits of being a creative belgium member
5.1 Although Creative Belgium has taken the greatest care in compiling the memberships and their benefits, it cannot guarantee that the benefits presented on the Creative Belgium website are final. No rights can be derived in any way from, and no claims can be brought in respect of, the contents of this website.
6) Denouncing your membership
6.1 Memberships can only be denounced before the 30th of September for the following calendar year.
6.2 The term of notice is 3 months.
6.3 Denounciations must be made in writing, per post or by e-mail to info@creativebelgium.be.
6.4 After Creative Belgium has received the denunciation, the member receives a written confirmation by e-mail with the date of denunciation of the membership.
